Only mods I have are the ITP wheels, 1.5" durablue spacers in the front and 27x12 vamps on all 4. I have pictures, but I dont know how to get them. I have the wife do all that for me. I'll put some in here when I can get to them.

Great. Once we get the the forum design completed, my next step will be the gallery for photos.
I have a 2006 Hawkeye and am strongly considering trading my 2005 Triumph Speed Triple on either a 2006 Sportsman X2 (so my 4yr old daughter can ride with me legally) or a 2006 Sportsman 800 EFI.
got a 2006 trail boss but it is my first quad so i cannot compare it to anything but i do like it alot just need new tires on it i was thinking dirt devil II's going up to 23's in the back. not sure yet
I have a 2000 sportsman 500 4X4. Wouldn"t trade it for any
other ride other than a new one. Don't know when that's
gonna happen. Can't ware this one out.
Im pissed but not detured. I love this machine. There is so much potential. The story goes like this. We went to the Marengo atv mud ride in hebert louisiana. As we do every year. Well I bought a new 07 ranger 700 xp. You guys and galls have seen it. If not well it has 27" mudlights, 3" of lift, 200watts of sterio, and 4000 pound warn winch. Well all goes well I pass through a couple of holes but nothing major. Then 8 miles in to the ride both front axles snap while on dry ground. I continued in 2 wheel drive having to use the winch a few times. well let me tell you if you dont have at least 2 batteries dont leave the dry dirt. I cant tell you what a feeling it is to sit 8 miles in any direction from anything that even looks like civilization. when your battery goes your done. 2-800 polarises and a 750 bruitforce pulled on me for 8 hours. When we finaly got it out of the woods there was $2200 in damages. Well Im in the fixing stage now. As polaris want make good on the axles. So to hell with all the manufactures. Im going to build a machine that can take the punishment. So if you have ideas or things that havent been done but would like to see let me now. What im shooting for is a vehical that will remain trail friendly but when called on will answer with no hesitation.
OUCH! We had something similar to that happen of course we laugh at it now but we were not so happy before but we did crack a joke or two throughout the whole thing. Then we have met a couple others with similar issues too so we helped them out. We had heard that some machines have issues with axles and other parts not taking hits well so we have spent a large amount of money to get the underbody protection. It can get pricey but at your costs it makes me feel better (sorry). I am currently looking at getting a Polaris Razr but they are impossible to look at right now because they all are bought before they hit the floor and I would rather check it out before laying down 10g's. Sorry I can not help with update suggestions but I am just getting into the mods for my bikes so I am still learning. My current mod will be getting the exhaust system porcelined (?) I think they call it that my brain is not full throttle right now but I have read that the heat on our atvs have been know to melt our plastic farrings-no thanks on that replacement. Keep riding!
Got a 2007 500 HO EFI Sportsman. I think I'm in LOVE!!
My first ATV, I'am having fun.
Front brush guard and rear bumper.
Front and rear rack extenders.
Light mod.
More to come.
My friend has a sportsman 600 and took me for ride he beat the stuffing out of it which for sure I thought we were walking home pushing a 800lb machine but it kept going up over trees, boulders, everything after that . the next weekend I went out and got the sportsman x2 had it for a year now with no problems and now im looking to get another.

That sucks, but from what I have read on other sites, you cannot lift the front end of a popo 3" without changing the axles. From what I have read you can do 2 inches in the front and 1.5 inches in rear.
Also, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't knock the dealer. A 3" lift is not what the quad was designed for. IMO.
Gotta 07 500 - awesome. Why anyone needs more power is beyond me. I'm 235lbs and could tear up an anvil with a rubber mallet and this thing responds like I'm not there. It's a pretty intimidating machine.
