Wifey has finally agree to join the rest of the family and get a quad.
Am thinking of the 200 Phoenix, she doesn't want to shift, and most likely won't be beatin it to bad.
Has anyone had either good or bad experiences with this machine? or suggest an alternate?

have you looked at the sportsman 300 (it's the most impressive 300 IMO) if ya'll ride on rough terrain it will help her having the AWD system and slightly bigger tires and ground clearance than the phoenix. you might already know this, the phoenix is an entry level sport quad geared for speed, jumps, racing, etc if that's what ya'll are looking for i say go for it .

Good day,
We went down yesterday...the 300 she feels is to big..having her saddle up on both, showed the 200 is much more her size....the other benefit is when Jr. outgrows his Suzuki LT 80 in a year, he can graduate up to the 200 easily. He'll be more likely to ride the hell out of it...jumping...scrambling etc. Therefore, the Phoenix it is...going to pick it up right after the holidays.......yipppppppeeeeeeeee....now I need a new and bigger trailer....
Have a good holiday!

Hey,
She had it out two weeks ago at the club we belong to.
The first hour, the kids and I didn't want to know her.....lol as she was learning her new machine.
I took it for a couple of minutes here and there....definetly enough torque and power for her, seemed extremely tight, as it should being new I guess. I couldn't beat on it to much being new,,,but it tackled a few moderate hills with no problem.
After it's broken in and I can ride it harder, I'll reply again.
Suspension seemed adequate...but going to have to replace those tires and wheels.

Tks for that. Next weekend were going up. I'll insure to put it through some water and see if slippage occurs. Wifey generally doesn't like getting sopping wet...but puddles and crossing streams she'll do with no hesitation.
When we return, I'll let y'all know.
