Pine Creek ORV Area
The Pine Creek area of the Wayne National Forest provides some excellent opportunities for riding off-road vehicles (ORVs). This trail system provides approximately 17 miles of trails for off-road vehicle, hiking, and mountain bike use. Two other trail systems for off-road vehicles are provided on the Wayne NF. One trail system, Hanging Rock, is nearby. The other area, Monday Creek is north of Nelsonville, Ohio.
Trail Markers: Designated trails are marked with orange diamonds. Brown carsonite posts show symbols for the trail area and other information. Below the trail area is the difficulty rating and the direction referred to by the marker. An example is shown here.

- Telegraph Trailhead - 23 miles north of Ironton on Highway 93. Turn left on County Road 193 for 1/8 mile to the parking area.
- Lyra Trailhead - From Wheelersburg, take County road 2 to Township Road 307.
- Wolcott Trailhead - From Ironton, go north on State Route 93. Turn on Highway 522 West; go 3.5 miles to County Road 9, then 3 miles to the trailhead.
