honda rancher 420

i just bought a honda 420 a couple of weeks ago and was wonderin if 14 inch rims and 27s would fit without a lift. thanks

I don't think the 14" will make a difference as long as you have the correct offset. But as for the 27" it will be tight. My '07 AT 400 with 25's would be okay but it's much better with the 2 inch lift. You actually are only losing 1.5" to the tires so I would suspect you would be okay height wise my concern would be the clearance between the fender (behind the front tire). Top to bottom I would venture your okay but there's not a lot of room front to back for clearance.

I just got my Rancher 420 2 weeks ago and Im thinkin about gettin the 26" swamplites & 12" Douglas Spyder wheels, just wanderin if anybody has the swamplites how well they work?

swamp lites do very good, my cousin put 26" on his 420 and had to trim about a .25" off the rear fender on the bottom part behind the floorboards.

How much of a diffrence did it make in ride heighth?

I love my 07 Rancher but I'll have to say the stock tires don't work well in snow.

I have an 07 420 with mudlite 26" XTR's on 12" SS rims. Awesome tire and lots of room.
