My friend just bought one of these and when we look through the manual he was horrified that the tank was only 3.# something gallons big.

Range is important on the types of fishing trips we do,but it works out because his fuel mileage is great with it.

The winch is only a 30-45 minute job if done right.... the majority of the time it's spent in the shop is likely cutting through the red tape to get Honda's warranty dept. to release the funds to repair it for you.

Sometimes the smallest little glitch can cause an absolute disaster, I'm sorry this happened to you and hope that once you get the machine back it gives you many years of enjoyment.

I've heard of different things going out to cause problems such as this... not many oil pumps go bad... but when they do it wreaks havoc. Keep bugging them until they get it together and get it done... hopefully it was just an isolated incident that won't happen again.

Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

Chuck
