question on tires?

Im getting the new brute force 750, it has 25 in. tires factory. My question is im going to have some mudlite xl put on it, i was thinking of putting 27s on it, some of my friends say this will give it a greater chance of flipping because we ride a lot of steep trails. It has 9 1/2 in of clearence so if go with 27s it puts it to 11 1/2 and the mudlites put it to around 12 1/2 or 13 if im adding right. So is this right and if so how much greater chance do i have on flipping?

if you go from 25 to 27" tires your ground clearance will only increase by 1"
