Eh, I downloaded em all when I first started having trouble with the bike... trying to avoid purchasing that $70.00 service manual. No luck... ended up buying it but thought maybe somebody else could benefit from them since they were such a pain to download. Also if anybody has any questions that I can answer from that "Book of Gold" let me know and I'll look it up and answer it as best I can.
Ride Safe,
Chuck

The service manual for my work truck is smaller. But yeah, it's nice to have around to tell you how to do some of the basic stuff. Next time I buy a Kawi I'll make them give me a service manual for it as part of the deal.
Ride Safe,
Chuck

could u tell me where to locate and find the wires to reset my belt light? thank u so much
This is how you reset belt failure light.
1. Make sure ignition switch is off.
2. Remove the Seat.
3. Disconnect both sets of 4 pin connectors, these are the gray and black connectors just infront of the tool pack.
4. Reconnect these 4 pin connectors to their opposite gray to black and black to gray.
5. Turn on the ignition switch.
6. Observe the belt check indicator (It should be flashing quickly).
7. Disconnect the belt switch (this is the 2 pin connector above the torque converter cover).
8. Observe the belt check indicator light (is should be flashing slowly), let it flash for at least 5 seconds.
9. Turn off the ignition switch.
10. Disconnect the mismatched 4 pin connectors and return them to black to black and gray to gray.
11. Connect the belt switch 2 pin connector.
12. Turn on the ignition switch, no belt check indicator light should be flashing
Sorry it took me so long to get back with you on this... been really busy lately at work.
Hope this helps.

Oh well.... they're up there for all to see. If the machine is new, then you may not need to reset the belt switch inside the torque converter housing.. it may just have gone into it's initial limp mode at 100 miles.
Let us know what ya find out.

I don't believe there is a reset for the oil light.... if the key is on and motor is off... then the light is supposed to blink.
If the light is blinking while the motor is running, you either have a faulty sensor, wire, indicator, etc. or you don't have high enough oil pressure.

I have a cd rom manual that I found on the web. It was about 10.00 with shipping. It is the same as the book only on cd rom. Great illustrations without the bulky book. The wires are the ones in front of the round things in rear of quad under the seat. It is a black plug and the grey plug should be right beside it with a red wire loope to it and it is hooked to nothing. If the grey one is missing then you need to get one. Dealer will have it and not too expensive I figure.

Reason: spelling critical to understanding procedure
