LOL, I was making a somewhat futile attempt to side-step saying that. The 2006 features new tie-rod ends, steering knuckles, carb needles/jets, a-arm bolts... and many other previously recalled components of the 2005 model. Given, I'm certain these aren't the only upgraded components... but they are the only ones I personally know of.

The best way to get the recalled items fixed is just to remove them like I did...LOL..I only wish I still Kawi parts on my bike,then I wouldnt have to ship it 400 miles away to get fixed when I hit trees

Have you been back to visit those trees since then?

Out of the 2 did either of them survive?

This is a very important consideration seeing as even if one died... that leaves you with a 50% mortality rate...LMAO
