Thumbs down would you pay $10,500 for a quad?

That is what they want for the Thundercat 950. I love my 500 but that price is pretty steep, don't you think?

To much. You can get a fine rhino for that kind of money. Or 2 very nice used atvs. Or a brute with an engine that would destroy the ac.

Would I pay $10,500.00 for a quad? yes.

Would I pay it for that bike? no.

I would NOT pay that for a Cat. I dam sure would not pay that for a 1st year production. But you can bet that Cat will have any problems with folks buying them. There are a lot of folks who want the biggest and newest thing on the market. On another note......950!!!!!!!! That is alot of power. That is alot of power for atv brakes, diffs, tie rods and so on. Have they beefed up and of the supporting parts to be able to run a motor that size?

Agreed.

I've put crazy amounts of money into bikes... BUT....

Alot of it is in aftermarket products to make it the way I want it.... be damned if I'll spend that much for a machine just to have it the way They want it.

Hope that makes sense to everybody... lol

For a first year production, yes they will find the ones willing. It all comes down to what the percentage of spendable income you have. "Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?". My racing sportscars obsession cost over 12,000 dollars just for the transmisson, would I buy that one again? No, there is a better one out there now for a few thousand more. It was the only one available at the time.

It's only money, you can't take it with you. Justification, its never about what is the sensiblle thing to do. Those people just hang with the ball and stick sports.
