800 bomb recall
On June 20, 2006, BRP began sending out a safety recall letter to owners of all 2006 and of some 2007 Outlander 650 and 800 ATVs. The letter identifies a potential safety hazard with the rear brakes that can cause overheating and ignite if the rider slightly engages the foot brake lever while moving and not notice it. BRP has a modification in place, all you have to do is call your dealer to get the appointment to get it fixed at no charge.
