burning oil

a buddy of mine was wondering how do you tell if your fourwheeler is useing oil

well, that depends.

Machines can use "a little" oil and it be hard to notice - might have to add a little oil every few rides...

If they use "ALOT" of oil... then they will usually smoke, you'll always be adding oil, and there will be a very noticeable odor.

If it is burning oil then the bike will start smoking blue, and there will be oil residue in the exaust pipe
