I AM LOOKING FOR ADVISE ON HOW TO CHECK THE FUEL PUMP OR ANY OTHER IDEALS ON WHY MY RHINO WON'T START? I CHECKED THE FUEL FILTER BUT I DON'T SEE "ANY" FUEL IN THE FILTER SO I AM QUESSING THAT MAYBE THE PUMP IS DEFECTIVE.
remove the fuel pickup tube from out of the top of the tank and check for white silicone sealant plugging the tube up. This has been a problem with the rhinos. The sealant deteriorates from around the sending unit and pickup tube and falls into tank plugging off the pickup tube or getting sucked up into your filter. Check filter also for this material.
I have blown out "all" tubes leading from the tank as well as the one inside the tank. I also replaced the filter and still no fire so I'm quessing it must be the pump?

I also had fuel pump failure-made it home by blowing pressure in the tank thru the vent line with a portable tire inflator. I replaced the pump and it has run well for 30 hours of run time. On my trail ride on this Sat. night it quit again-again no fuel to carb. I re attached the tire inflator to the tank vent to get home. Any body have any suggestions?

Rhino fuel pump problem II, After checking on line and finding so many reports of Rhino fuel pump failures, I decided to convert to an inline mini electric fuel pump that pumps 3-5 psi. [the stock one pumps 3psi-sometimes!] I haven't finished yet but I plan to keep the stock return fuel line in the system. Finding a mounting place is difficult and I'm still working it. Thanks for the feedback, Your case is scary to read about, it tells me that maybe I should rethink the stock pump and go with the electric after maket one.
Rhino fuel pump problem III I installed the electric pump and the carb flooded over immediately. I installed an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and it still floods over, even after I adjusted it to .5 psi.. My next approach is to turn the return line "Y" around-putting the smaller side to feed the carb, the larger to dump gas back in the tank. If that doesn't work I plan to take the carb apart to make sure its clean-particularly the needle/seat valve. If anybody has any ideas-please jump in at any time-this problem is causing alot of stress and non-riding/non mud time...please help if you can. Thanks, les 06'Rhino-snorkeled
Rhino fuel saga update: I cleaned out the carb needle & seat with carb spray and compressed air and everything is working fine!!! EEEEHaaa!!!!! No more flooding/fuel running out of fuel bowl overflow tube. The pressure regulator is set at .5 lb.=seems low but it runs fine. If anybody else is doing this conversion, I hope this info helps. The pump was "Mr Gasket" brand, and cost $45., the regulator is also the same brand and cost $29., along with about $35.00 of mbs. Now I can ride! oldatvr 06'Rhino 660 snorkeled and a 2" lift
Thanks for your feedback I hope to try your work on my Rhino I am not as savy with the mechanic side but at this point it sounds like my best option if I do it or get the Yamaha Dealer to install

I rode for 35 miles Saturday night on trails with other bikes and had no problems with my new fuel pump. I also had to replace the rear brake pads=wow what a strange design and user unfriendly system. I did get my new "Zilla's 27" tires=sweet! oldatvr 06 Rhino snorkeled, 2" lift and 27" Zillas
