Damn I just bought an Eiger....I could have had a HOOT!!!

I have been thinking about building a four seater 6X6 for awhile now....lots of research. This gives me some more ideas. Most people don't know that 6X6s have been built since the 50s and in 1980 there was a national level race for them.

Check out Route 6x6 The Internet Resource for 6 and 8-wheel Amphibious ATVs,Argo, Attex, Hustler, Max, Amphicat, Sierra Trail Boss, Scrambler, Coot, Camel, Jiger, Starcraft, Terra Tiger, terratiger, OD, Recreatives Industries, RI, atv, 6 wheeler, 8 wheeler, qu for more.

Well lets just hope that CCRANE and Scribner don't acually get one. because in two weeks it would be sitting 2 feet off the ground and running on 29.5" outlaws. Don't know how they would do it but I am sure that they would figure it out.

Hoot ATV

I drove a Hoot back in 2002, when it was manufactured in Nova Scotia, Canada. It was the most fun thing I have ever driven. Unlike an Argo for example, which completely locks one side or the other to steer, the Hoot's tires are progressively braked when the handlebars are turned. I have a '97 TRX300FW and I would sell it and buy a Hoot in a second if I could find one. Crank the handlebars to one side or the other and swing donuts like nobody's business. There's a lot of good engineering in the Hoot, from the pressurized engine compartment which keeps out dust, to the torquey Kohler engine, the Hoot is the best ATV/ETV I have ever driven!
