| bought my first home! well mobile home that is. finally got the funds to buy a mobile home to put on my piece of property and get out from under mom and dad. i bought an 06 14x70 3 bed 2 bath, brand new, never been lived in/set up. i have an acre of land down the road that i bought about 5 months ago. im so excited to get it, and everything is moving so fast and finally coming together. still got a long way to go to make it a "home" but its gonna get there, with a lot of personal touch, and stuff. getting it moved to my lot on dec. 3rd, and earlier if there's any cancellations. so hopefully in about a month i will be in it! | | | | Nov 13th, 07, 09:26 PM | | Mudpuddlin' Darlin' STAFF Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: AR

| There's nothing like the feeling of owning your own home... (i guess similar to that of having a child.... as I've heard from others)
Enjoy it, protect it, take pride in it, and make sure you always do everything you can to preserve it.
A home will give you a place to stay dry, a place to stay safe, a place to sleep, a place to relax.... but only if you take care of it.
Don't be like some of these schmucks that let their places look like a rummage sale surrounding a trash heap.
