sound like a good deal???

i bought this masterlock winch from my buddy for $20. it's only a 1500 lbs winch, not water proof. but it dose work. i was jst wounderin if ya think it was a good "temporary fix"

also i'm new to winches period so i got a question. i went to go test it...drove in a ditch and hooked up the winch to a tree and attempted to pull it out. it did but about mid way threw the pull it shut off. wated a minute and it'd work for a little then shut off again. what was it doing? i was just wounderin, prob a stupid question, but i want to make sure i didn't do nothin wrong

lol..ok so i'll just ahve to use it in intervals. not so much at one time. like i said. this is a CHEAP winch. like a walmart brand. but hell it is a winch

yep, those get hot fast a guy that rides with us some has one. for $20 i would try it though. IMO
