| woops once again i make a mistake. BIG mistake
friday night i took my sisters for a ride in the rhino. i'm drivin them threw the woods and this trail we are ridin on is gettin pretty grown over. so i decide instead of goin back threw i go down the trail that leads tto the highway and ride down the side of the highway. well on the side of the highway there is a creek. i try to find the best way to cross thinkin that spot was dry. (since we haden't had any rain in a month).
i was wrong and wind up getttin stuck. the thing is the creek was only a few feet wide but was soft mush. well i get stuck round 8:30 and try some stuff but to no effect. then a car stops by . they let me use there phone and i try to call all my friends but of cource they've all been drinkin and can't come out to help and no one else picked up so i had to cal dad. HE WAS PISSED. he said "stay right there, i'm comin".
so in the meanwhile cops started to pull over and tell me it was reported as a car rollin over. right when my dad plls up her comes 3 ambulances, a firetruck, and 4 cruisers. my dad puls me to the side and says keep mouth shut. he spoke to the officers and all the equpment and teams left. then daed took me back to the house to get the suburban and we puled her right out.
you better beilve i got my butt chewed. one for gettin the rhino stuck, two ridin down the side of the highway, three taken the girls that far out, four ridin near dark, and five for not callin himm right away. so he took my quads keys and basically put me on restriction. if i don't like it i can get the hell out of the house.
lovely mess, and all i was tryin to do was take another way home. didn't intentional get stuck or dirty just tryin to get home. so like i said. woops | | | | Jun 22nd, 08, 09:02 AM | | Super Moderator STAFF Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: Crossville,TN

| but what makes the whole thing worse is my dad thinks i was taken it down there to sling mud. why would i do that when i have my own quad to get stuck. i was simply tryin to get home a different route nothing more nothing less but now dad is givin me shuch a hard time about "well how do i know yo won't take my suburban out muddin", hell he's even threatedendd bout taken my quad threw the pond and drowings it. just to see how i like it.
i can tell him why i wont take it out, it weights 5600 lbs, with the winch taken off it would be suicide to take the thing out. not to mention it would destroy the truck. i have my own quad to do that with. and i loe that truck, i don't want to destroy it by goin mud slingin he is being really stupid bout the whole ordeal. and whats got me really pissed is he has got my quads keys. the only reason why i don't demand mine back is i need the trucks keys to get to work. i know if i demand those back he'll take those and prob kick me out. so i have to right now bite the bullet and take the ride.
it's bad enough i'm havin to wait on a bill from the county. granted i don't know if the county will but if they do i'klkl be payin every last dime. which if you think bout it, that is my responsibility to pay but still that adds a whol;e lotta stress | | | | Jun 23rd, 08, 09:00 AM | | Poor White Boy Join Date: May 2008 Location: south of the mason/dixon line

| thats why i haven't, like you said. it'l pass i've been here with dad before in lots of trouble. it'll all pass. like the time i recked the trooper goin down the dirt road at 70 mph. i still to this day don't go that fast or screw around with other ppl's stuff for the stress and arguements it caused from that. but that too passed and now dad lets me drive his pride and joy. i think dad's just still pretty pissed and he has the right to, i mean how would i feel if someone took my quad and trashed it. .
i just wish he would relize i didn't intentionally get the thing muddy and i didn't intentionaly take his rhino muddin. thats what is really botherin me. it was a mistake it's not like i was thrashin threw the woods or slingin mud with friends. i was just taken an alternative and quicker route. i know i sound like a broken record but thats the truth, and hell i had my sisters with me. dad interogates them whenever i take the rhino out and they know i'm not supposed to tak the thing out muddin so why would i do it. like i said it was an accident. do ya see what i'm sayin? | | | | Jun 24th, 08, 11:29 AM | | Poor White Boy Join Date: May 2008 Location: south of the mason/dixon line

| Why would you get a bill from the county? You didn't call them, some other moron did, right? You didn't even need their services, and you didn't use them, right? | | | | Jun 25th, 08, 03:32 PM | | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Texas

| Believe it or not, I'll bet your Dad isn't really as pissed as he may be acting. I'll bet he is simply trying to teach you a lesson about responsibility. Sometimes it's tough being a Father and having to be the bad guy but you know it's in your kids best interest to be tough on them sometimes.
Or then again you Dad might be really pissed. LOL | | | | Jun 26th, 08, 06:43 AM | | Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: Shreveport, La.

| all things pass with time.
now just remember, you'll probably be a dad one day, and trust me here, your son or daughter will get the 4 wheeler stuck, and before you jump down there throat, just remember, you did the same thing. | | | | Jun 26th, 08, 07:17 PM | | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: Springfield, GA

| lol i'm not saying i am completely right. i shouldn'yt have been on the side of the highway but other than that everything else was an accidenet. and no i didn't call the services and we didn't use them. we got the truck and pulled it right out with no help. and we haven't got a bill yet. i th9ink dad when he said all that was tryin to scare me and he was a little worried that the county might send us a bill but the more i think bout it the more i agree, i shouldn't get a bill. mayb a ticket for being on the side of the highway with a 4 wheller but not a bill for unused services
ohh and by the way dad isn't actin. he is still very. . . ticked off | | | | Jun 26th, 08, 10:54 PM | | Poor White Boy Join Date: May 2008 Location: south of the mason/dixon line
