Economics according to OPEC?

I got to thinkin today as I filled up my truck, how sad a state our economy is in. It's bad when I can get EXCITED that gas has gone DOWN to $3.69 a gallon!
I live in West TN and I'm curious what the gas prices are in other areas.

$3.74 here in South Arkansas, talked to another one of our shuttle drivers last night who said it has dropped to $3.45 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

What has happened is there has been something like 4 billion less gallons of gas pumped this year ( I might be wrong on that number, but it was a huge number). This has literally killed the Highway Trust Fund which depends on gas to be pumped in order to get that per gallon tax money.

Gas started immediately dropping shortly after that report was leaked out. Coincidence? I think not.

Local gas station owner here says he thinks gas is headed back down into the $2.xx range.

gas below 3 bucks would help IMO it's 3.59 here at the cheapest station.

gas - $3.59

Diesel - $4.25

STILL RIDICULOUS!

And I still have a hard time understanding....

Oil-rich country bombs us...
We go take over oil-rich country...
We bring them Democracy and white bread...
Our oil prices go higher???

Eh... must be more of that "Casino math"

We've made it down to $3.61 here. I hope it keeps going down!
