That's at my family's cabin, most of our trophies are there. The big mangled rack one is one of my dad's, I've got a couple up there, and my brother has one up there also. We hunt together as a family, but my Dad gets to hunt alot more due to work schedules ( he works when he wants).

No blueprints/plans it was layed out on notebook paper.

My Dad, me, and 2 of my brothers help build the cabin. Next time I'm up there I'll get more pics of it. Its an open floor plan, the kitchen and living area are together 25'x25', then it has a bedroom 12'x18' and a bathroom 12'x7' with a loft above the bedroom and bathroom. It has a deck around the front and down one side is a screened in porch. The measurements are rough it was about 10 years ago when we built it. My wife hunts also.

Sounds NICE! You could never get too rustic for me. As a matter of fact, I've always said that I should have been born in the late 1800's wilderness. That would have been right up my alley!

I can't hardly wait til deer camp- only 12 more days to go, actually 9 days til camp and 12 days til opening day!

Real nice pics though bama, seems like you guys do pretty good, keep it up!

Yeah was def a shock to see laying out in the swamp after my dad shot him. He was a stag and wieghted 280lbs (he was very fat). According to the wildlife manager he never lost velvet on his antlers, so he never dropped them like normal deer every season. The best part was takeing the mount to the hunting expos and seeing all the folks faces the first seeing one like it, crazy thing is there was about 5 similiar racks that year.

Those were great pics bama.... one of these days I'll have to go dust off the rifle and do some hunting.

Wife says no mounts in the house... LOL

Guess I'll have to find room in the shop.
