Has anyone used , or does any one know anything about the new Kazuma Mammoth? I have read several articles about the machine, and drove one at the dealer, but is it as good as it seems?
Through a local dealer here in texas, I was able to score one of the upgrade models for the same price as the base. And he will kinda let me show it off at some of the ride areas around here, with his decals on it.
Sorry I don't buy Chinese made crap. Because all of it is crap, how much lead is in the paint they use? Crappy welds, poor quaility steel and screws that won't stay in. Not to mention the Chinese have been poisoining our kids and pets for the last couple of years.

upgrade tires, but came on the machine, Has an 800 pound load capacity in the bed and will tow up to 1200 pounds. 8 gal tank, and is extremely fuel efficient. 3 cyl liquid cooled, 800 cc. not really a good mudder, but climbs great. more pix to come
I am not certain if anyone has replied to your request for info. I recently purchased a Mammoth 800 and like it. You need to understand that you are purchasing a UTV that is kinda new and that the dealer network is a bit hosed up.
That being said, You can get a mammoth for all of the right reasons. They are around $6k-$8k in cost and they really do perform. I purchased mind with the understanding that the machine was average at best. I made several upgrades such as swaping the current clutch with an adjustable clutch set-up ($135 and about an hour of my time). Temp and cooling system mod ($40 and about 1/2), and an anti-rattle kit for the bed that sounded like a chain saw when driving down my drive way.
The dealer network could use a little bit of work. I have found that there are a few dealers that will not sell just the standard Mammoth. The dealer upgraded machines are more realiable and come with a bit of warranty and tech support. Aaron at Coupers Classic cars has been wonderful to deal with (802) 645-9100. This guy has, sells and uses the mammoths. He has worked with me to provide and assisted with my upgrades. Oh, by the way... I didn't even buy the machine from him.
Generally, I like my machine. With some minor upgrades, it's as good or better than my 3010 Mule and my 610 4wd mule. I would not say they are a Ranger quite yet but they are well under the $10-$14k of the ranger. All of my up options are Ranger Parts (Top, windshield).
My Side by Side is:
Red
Alum Wheels
Over size tires
Windshield (Folding)
Canvas top
3500lb. Winch
My total cost delivered $6800
Total cost of upgrades $350
virtzie,,, thanks for the info, I have dealt with aaron on several occasions, and read all the posts on the kazuma800 website. Ordered parts and really like the machine. If you dont have it already, the Monster clock/odo/speedo is a really great addition, plus it monitors the engine temp as well. Enjly your machine as We do, ours
I guess i should have left well engough alone. I just developed a situation with my mammoth popping out of gear in high range on slight inclines or at higher speeds. It appears as though there are several units recently produced that have a syncronizing ring that is either weak or faulty. I am waiting for the disposition process to take place but, it seems like Kazuma is aware of the problem and that will might provide me with a new Syncro Ring and gear shaft for the Tranny. Have you had nay thing like this occur with your unit? I will let you know how this pans out!
