Mitchell County Fair will be July 10-15, 2007

OSAGE — The Mitchell County Fair begins on Tuesday, July 10, at the fairgrounds in Osage, and ends on Sunday, July 15.

Several grandstand events, exhibits, 4-H, FFA and open class judging as well as the Mitchell Mitchell County Queen contest, all highlight the week.

The schedule:

* Tuesday, July 10 —

• 8:30 a.m. 4-H and FFA exhibit judging.

* Wednesday, July 11 —

• Noon. 4-H and FFA Horse and Pony Show.
• 1 p.m. Little Miss and Mister Contest.
• 6 p.m. Midway opens, Miss Mitchell County Queen pageant.
• 7 p.m. Sanctioned Tractor Pull in the grandstand.

* Thursday, July 12 —

• 10 a.m. Horse and pony judging.
• Noon. Midway opens.
• 1 p.m. Poultry judging.
• 2:30 p.m. Rabbit judging.
• 3:30 p.m. Pets judging.
• 7 p.m. Bull riding, grandstand.

* Friday, July 13 —

• 8:30 a.m. Beef judging.
• 11 a.m. Clover Kids judging.
• Noon. Nick’s Golden Oldies show in the big tent, midway opens.
• 1 p.m. Sheep judging; Department E Agriculture judging, Nick’s Kids Show.
• 4:30 p.m. Working exhibit presentation.
• 7 p.m. Fashion Review/Clothing Selection Style Show, Share the Fun, Demolition Derby in the grandstand.

* Saturday, July 14 (Kid’s Day) —

• 8:30 a.m. Swine judging.
• 9 a.m. Dairy judging.
• 10 a.m. Horseshoe judging.
• Noon. ATV Four-wheeler Fun Day in the grandstand, midway opens.
• All afternoon, Nick’s Kids Show.
• 7 p.m. Dog show and Figure 8 race in the grandstand.
• 8-11 p.m. Sokmonkey Band in the Beer Garden.

* Sunday, July 15 —

• Noon. Bucket Bottle Calf Show.
• 1 p.m. Kids’ games in the grandstand.
• 2:30 p.m. Livestock Ribbon Auction.

Monday, July 16 —

• 7-11:30 p.m. 4-H Dance.
