Talk about your all-time disappointments.... I would have thought Yamaha (the one MFG that has been present at EVERY Mudnationals event) would have gone bigger than 26cc's after 5 years of production of the 660.

The power steering is a fantastic idea, but from somebody that has ridden many of these bikes... they really didn't need it. (the rest of the industry does).

I hope this is just a stepping stone to a larger more powerful machine along with a body-styling upgrade... elsewise they're likely to piss off the loyal customer base that has been waiting for them to release a "Monster" for 5 years.

Ride Safe,

Chuck

Well, I hit the mountains hard with the '07 Griz 700FI yesterday. I have ridden it some on a couple of short rides, but nothing like we did on this outing. I can honestly say that the "NEW" is well worn off. I didn't break anything, and I kept it on the wheels, but not always all four!

We did dirt, mud, brush, rock, a little grass, and even some snow! I have not washed it yet, as it is now Mother's Day, so I do not know just how much of the "new" I took off! I can honestly say that the Griz 700FI is all that I had hoped it would be. I ran into another guy with the same Special Edition as mine, and he said the same thing. He was a die-hard crazy rider, and he said it rode and handled like nothing else he has ever ridden. I now only wish that I was riding in the mountains every day. NO, I take that back! It takes me at least a day to get rid of the "soreness" for the 8 hour rides!

Grizz comparison

Humm I own 2 of them ( well one is my wifes). I got to say that having sportsman 99% of the time, last one a 05 700 efi.The grizz has got Polaris hands down . Way better response .My 05 sportsman got about 10 mile mpg. Grizz 20 mpg. The power steering is Fan dam tastic. My sportsman was ruff on my shoulders and arms. Long Tec rides. No flatlander here. The grizz I can ride all day and no problem. I am not to fond of the stock tires , They could have picked a better tire. The price is close. Polaris does have some great features . Still sticking to the grizz.

WOW. A friend of mine just bought his woman the new grizzly and all I can say is WOW.

Now, I'm not into the whole comfort-while-I-mud thing, and I like my '05 Foreman the way it is, scars and all, but I have to say - driving that thing was a freakin dream! Smooth as butter, and the power steering was incredible! Very nice ride!

Now to keep my man from driving to the Kawi dealer and dropping 9gs...
