Wolverine

I picked up a 07 Wolverine a month ago. This is the most fun I've ever had riding an ATV. I use to ride a sport quad but all my buddies had 4x4's and witht eh mud and snow here in New England, I was starting to get into trouble without the 4x4. I started to look at 4x4's but didn't like most Utility Quads. Then I found the Wolverine. After calling every Yamaha dealership within 100 miles, I found one that had just gotten one in. It was still in the crate when I arrived at the dealership. So without ever riding one or even seeing one in person, I bought it without ever seeing inside the crate. After a few days of nerves thinking "what the heck was I thinking" I arrived to pick it up and have not regretted the decision. It handles fantastic through the woods.

A very good mix between a Sport and a Utility machine. Great machine.

That's a funny question. I forgot to ask when I bought it, and didn't even think of what color it might be until I was driving there to pick it up.

I was very happy to get the grey one. Nothing against the blue one, very Yamaha traditional, but I liked the "mellower" grey one.

I had a 06 wolfie before moving to a grizz, great bike. If it had a locking front diff, i never would have traded it in!

I've mostly done trail riding, and stayed away from the deep stuff. I've only had it 3-4 inches above the floor boards in water, but that was no problem. It seems to moive along in moderate mud. I can't imagine it would be a "mud beast" of any kind. The stock tires seem good on trails but not real aggresive.

Hills are a breeze, it'll climb anything. This machine is a great trail bike.

I've taken mine through a couple of creeks that the water was up to the seat and it did fine. As far as climbing it takes the hills like a champ.

The only bike specific performance parts for the Wolverine are directly from Yamaha. Skid plates, racks, exhaust, exhaust, etc. (Well, at least anything I can find.)

I don't think it's a big enough seller for the aftermarket companies to go wild over.

OK...wasn't sure if they could direct you in the right direction for the rack or if they could get it. It never hurts to ask though (as they've probably had these questions before).
