I know a Guy that lives in the same village that I do up here in Canada, and he has a 6X6. What a machine. The only problem with them in Ontario, is you can only drive them on your property/private property or schedule c roads. Schedule c roads are all roads not maitained by an outside agency like the ministry of natural resources. A little fact is that in ontario a atv is classed as a off road vehicle that has 4 wheels in contact with the ground at all times. I have heard of people getting busted when going out of a ditch to cross a road and one wheel coming off of the ground. Nice for the sport eh!

I can just picture a cop hiding behind a tree somewhere waiting for a wheel to come off the ground just so he can write a ticket.

That would suck.

Tickets for that. I'd go broke! My wheels come off the ground ALL the time. What do you guys do when you need to jump something like a tree stump or when you go over rolling hills and you kind of jump to the next one ...?

I've seen a couple of these things at rides... they do ok but belong more on a farm or deer lease as a work machine.

Have y'all seen the tracks that they make for em? With the tracks on the rear wheels (not mattracks... they're like tracks on a dozer or tank that go around both rear wheels) they look awesome.

It is only when on roads, the problem could arise. We had a poker run for our fire department and the cops that were there, gave us that information. They said tickets have been given out, but they just give mostly warnings. I told the officers the same thing one of my wheels are off of the ground all the time, and I was informend I could get a ticket for that, but if I had a good attitude, I would just get a warning. But in my area, there are only 2 cops that patrol an are, about the size of the State of New York, and thats the size of my back yard.

Doesn't sound as bad now that you posted that. Made me almost fearful to ride where you live the way you mentioned it at first, LOL

Any of you guys with Polaris's notcie it steers harder than others? My 2001 Sportsman H.O. seems to me to turn HARD, even on dirt. The tires are about half shot but to me that would make it steer better. Running a good bit of air too. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I have heard all about those laws. Definately some hard laws to follow when it comes to guns.

Currently in the process of applying for my concealed handgun license... I figured heck, since I've been carrying for years I might as well do it legally...LOL

Wanna talk about some FUNKY laws.... this is a PAIN IN THE BUTT to apply for!

Ride Safe,

Chuck
