In other words..... a Brute that somebody went NUTS! with the camo....

Now I admit, I'm all about the new "Snow Camo" pattern... but only because I think it looks cool.

I personally believe Camo on a quad is one of the most pointless features ever. Sure let's hide from a deer (which I might mention have been scientifically proven to be color blind) on a camoflauged quad.

I love watching fellas on camo quads on deer leases... not realizing those chrome bumpers, or noisy exhaust.... or even headlights/tail-lights flashing and reflecting are chasing away any wildlife besides those working at the local brothel.

If you like the looks of camo... fine. But don't go out and pay the additional thousand bucks thinking you can hide from a deer on the thing..... what a joke.

Ride Safe,

Chuck

I have to disagree with ya Chuck on this one....
While the actual color is relatively unimportant, the pattern needs to blend with your surroundings (hence the need for camouflage). Deer are more likely to spot solid colors because they are more noticeable and "out of place" of what they usually see. Therefore, camouflage is still recommended and in contrast, solid unbroken patterns, especially of light colors, are not recommended. This point is an important one, because it is not the purpose of camouflage and concealment to persuade the deer; rather, the purpose of camouflage is to render the deer unaware.
As far as the chrome and noise...our Popos don't have chrome so they blend in with the surroundings while parked and there is no noise as you get to the deer stand early and wait for the deer to start moving and maybe cross your path.

All valid and reasonable points.... but I can't help but laugh at the guys out on the trail with camo bikes, with camo seat covers, camo wheels, camo bumpers, camo gun boxes, camo tape on the racks, camo hand guards, camo hand grips, heck I've even seen camo tires!!!

All the while wearing a camo jump suit, camo boots, camo hat, camo glasses, camo socks, carrying a camo bag and a camo gun with a camo shoulder strap and a camo scope......I've actually seen a gun like this that a goober wrapped camo tape around the barrel....... only one that couldn't see it was him!

All the while thinking they're completely invisible to any and all wildlife...

And the real winners are the ones that have all this camo... and then a bright fluorescent orange vest to keep anybody else from shooting them.

If you like camo... I'm happy for you, really I am!

But I'd be willing to bet a cold beer that I can go out to the same location as these fellers on my Red Rincon... put a black tarp over it... walk to wherever I'm to hunt... in black or dark clothing and shoot a deer standing in a feeding pen 100 yards away eating freshly dispensed corn or protein feed off the ground.

Just my 2 cents...LOL

Not meaning to offend anybody here... just not one that much believes in the camo revolution...

Ride Safe,

Chuck

I hear what you're saying, however some hunters take their sport very seriously....JUST LIKE some ATV enthusiasts, racers, and competitors in the way they "soup" up their bikes. Really no difference in the way people think. It's all in how you perceive your own sport and how far you're willing to go with it. Most importantly, if you're having fun then it's always worth it!
