As stated in one of our previous announcements [Coming soon: Mudbog's New Website Design], Mudbog.net will soon be releasing our new website design. To celebrate this release, we will be holding our first Mudbog contest to which we will award the winner an ATV performance accessory or gift certificate. We are asking our members to provide us with some suggestions for the basis of the contest. Once the contest has been determined, contest rules will be posted and the prize will be announced.
So please reply with your comments and suggestions for the contest basis. The contest will be held once we release the new website design.
All the ladies would send in their best pics of themselves in wet t-shirts...
The guys would send in their best pics of their spouses, girlfriends, or hot moms in wet t-shirts....
And they'd all get thrown in a pile and judged by a professional such as myself.
All results would be final and to make it fair admins and staff members would be excluded from the competition.
Rules would state the pictures would have to be large enough to clearly see the subject, and the person in the picture would have to be the member, or related in some way to the member entering the pic into the contest.
I would of course, stipulate no more than 5 pictures per member.
That's just my 2 cents.
Lemme know if you decide on this one... I'll be willing to sacrifice my time to judge the contest in a fair and impartial manner.

Well MT ya better hurry . Rumor has it that the coal company is gonna buy up all the property that we call Powerline Park . I know that they are considering about 300 acres of it for stripping next summer. It isnt as big as mud nationals but still alot of mud just the same. Usually there is around 2000 ppl there and lots of big trucks bikes and BEER . Hopefully one day we will head out west and check out some of the riding out your way.

I'm not realy clear on what we want either, LOL. Looking towards something that will last about a month, and we want to factor in several things during that month.
Somethings we may use are:
posts - Member get's X amount of points for each post during that timeframe.
Referrals - Member get's X amount of points for each person they refer to Mudbog.net.
Referral bonus - Member gets bonus points if that referral makes X amount of posts within that month.
Looking for ideas like that.
Still looking into the contest prizes to see what we will be able to offer.

not for the lack of trying though i get 200+ junk emails aday from entering contests that say i may already be a winner, they never tell you that you might already be a loser??????
Just a few ideas take em or leave em.........Best joke.. Best catch line or credo for Mudbog, maybee best idea for a mudbog event or charity. Maybee a treasure hunt where mudbog names a different item on a scheaduled or particular timeline, the first person with the picture of the iteam and themselves possesing the iteam race to 15 or Whatever. Thats kinda good I like that one, this stuff just comes to me ya know. So it brakes down like this Mudbog 2:00pm Monday;Item=Mudbog's new site........So I get the camera snap a pick of the Dtrain (thats me) on the new site page plug in my camera and press a few buttons.......botta bing clink cling clang, Im first photo with the proof= one for the Dtrain. Do it 14 more times take home the prize.
Or a best Why I love Mudbog contest (150) words or less.
Or a best Mudbog song or poem.
You could start a one word poem entry. 1st user=Mudbog. 2nd user=is. 3rd=the. 4th=place. 5th=to. 6th=be. 7th=when. 8th=Your. 9th=Not. 10th=On. 11th=Your. 12th=Atv. of course if it gets that far making any kinda sense Id be impressed. Then just find a way to pick the last word winner.

i like the making up a song or poem idea dtrain had, also the scavenger hunt type thing with taking a picture, but it should have to include you and your atv or something to do with atv's.
