well crap , i guess were still dead set on buying new tires . but i just cant decide on what kind yet . im thinkin of runnin a 27x10 mudzilla all the way around , or just 27x12 , 27x9.5 outlaws .

question is , i like to show off sometimes , so do the zillas even wheelie in water and float near as good as outlaws ? how bout pullin out of ruts or in the bottom less stuff .

HELP PLEASE

Everybody says laws are better. I'd say they're only better if you don't plan on riding any trails. Mabye Scrib and Chuck will show up and give us their opinions.

Flotation is based more on tire size and inflation. A wider tire with pressure (12" wide with over 10psi) on the front will yield 3-times the water-wheelie'ing ability as a 8" wide with 4-5psi.

I own Zillas and prefer them, I have a complex of wanting to be different (everybody and their uncle's brother's dog owns Outlaws) but I've always liked the way Zillas performed and wore.

Zillas have a more aggressive look, as far as ride is concerned... they both ride like a robot on steroids. Either side of the equation will fight to the death the superiority of their own tire due to owner-bias... both tires are quite good in the mud, but not much good for anything else.

If you want a showy tire with aggressive looks and good mud-performance, get the Zillas

If you want what everybody else has and that which is the latest craze, get the Outlaws.

It all depends on what you want and what you can afford.

Ride Safe,

Chuck

Zillas are tough as nails and a better trail tire (neither are a great trail tire) but I think Laws are better in prue mud,,,,,,,Both are GREAT TIRES !

The tire to buy is up to your riding style. if you ride in mud without hiden object just under the mud then you should run the outlaws. there lighter and will pull harder because of that fact. the zillas wich i run are tough. i mean realy tough and there heavy. its up to you is you want light tires that puncture easy or bullit proof heavy tires. if you have the power the zillas are my pic. im going to transfer my tire from my rancher to my rhino.

I was actually surprised by how smooth my laws are. I though they would be much rougher. And even better in Minnesota you hardly ever see.

The 29.5 laws are very smooth. The 28s are not. I had 3 sets of zillas before I saw the light. The Outlaws out perfrom the zillas bad in water and sand. But they don't look near as good. The Mudzillas are the best looking tire around. Even though they will loosen your fillins.

I like the way the outlaws perform compared to the zillas, one of the guys I ride with have a set of superswamper vampire edl's in 28's and they have outdone the outlaws so far but as far as trail riding I wouldn't recommend them. I'd go with the outlaws over the zillas, just my opinion though

I had vampires on my Rincon for about a month. Those tires were extremely rough. Now their on my Rubicon and that doesn't get riden so I guess their a good tire for sitting in the corner of the shed.

I have vamps on my bike and they do great in the mud. They really like to dig though. But yeah, anything over about 3psi and they're very rough. I think they need to be on a big heavy bike with soft suspension or only ridden in the mud.
