Use to favor the Bear Claw yrs back until I got a set of Mudlite 28's-ran the Mudlites for some 5000 miles and a grand tire tread they are. The Bear Claws are a good tire for your average trail/extreme temporary runs-hope that helps. Don't know what it is you expect to ride in but ........

I'm looking for a good hunting tire. Something that if its sloppy muddy in Illinois I can get across a corn field but won't leave a bad foot print in Colorado. I like the mud lites but i'm worried about speed wobble and tearing up the ground out west.

then get the Bear Claw and get it over with - they will be purfect for the cornfields. not like a Mudlite so don't get a headache over the signature left behind. anything with a genaric tread design you aren't going to be pleased with so get what you want to buy and be happy.
