| Need suggestions on tires. I have a 1996 Polaris 425 4X4 Magnum and I am going to need new tires soon. I want some that don't vibrate alot because i like riding dirt roads but i want some that can do good in mud and not get stuck. I don't plan on putting a lift kit on it. The stock tires were 25' so I need something around there. I looked at the mudlights but I'm not sure. Any help? | | | | Mar 31st, 08, 10:48 PM | | Mississppi Mud Join Date: Feb 2008

| Get the new Zilla's you won't regret it. I don't have them but a buddy of mine has them on his wife's 450 Grizz. Probably the best trail/mud tire out right now. Of course that's just an opinion and like butts everybody has one. And both usually stink. | | | | Apr 1st, 08, 01:32 PM | | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: Laurens County, GA

| I was looking at the Mudlight XT's. They look like they have better grip and tread. Anybody know? | | | | Apr 1st, 08, 01:52 PM | | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2007

| i haven't had mine for too long but i have noticed slight wear of my mudlites but only the edges (they are not as pointy anymore) but overall tread depth it's still the same and they pull very well. but if i was you go with the Xls, mudbugs or zillas. all deep tread with no extrem weight. if you want only All Terrain tread go with the zillas their tread is same depth in the 25" tire but there slightly lighter than the mudlites. | | | | Apr 1st, 08, 10:56 PM | | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: Laurens County, GA

| NOT Mudzillas, they will beat you to death. You want the Zilla's big difference in the two. I'm running Mudgears which do extremely well in the mud and are a GREAT trail tire. Only drawback is they are heavy, but extremely tough. Those tires are built like a tank, any my Rancher 400 has no trouble turning the 26" Mudgear, and a buddy has the 27" on his 400 Sportsman and has no trouble turning them (he does have a clutch kit though) | | | | Apr 2nd, 08, 01:49 PM | | larrydaytona Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: florida
