| swampthing, Now keep in mind that this is my opinion only. What I say is fact based on what I've seen and not third party info and I dont want to upset any hardcare swamplite lovers. I personally have a friend that is just that. We just dont see eye to eye on this. He sold them at the local Honda shop here and just has a love affair with them. I personally think they are way over-rated. My biggest complaint about the tire is that they are way too soft a compound and wear way too fast. You will not get your money's worth out of them. We have several in our group that has bought them and ended up selling them because they are not happy with them. A friend of mine... an ex-swamplite owner now calls them "stucklites". He hates them. Honestly, my 2wd 350 Rancher with Outlaws on the rear makes it through stuff easier than he does with SL in 4wd. Sure they ride good and come in true size or actually taller, which is a major plus, but that all I.M.O. Oh yeah, and they do kick up a good rooster tail. You have to spin them fast and keep them cleaned out because they will cake up on you. They do more spinning in the mud than gripping and getting. Here is some 3rd party info. My friend said that he did not like the way they performed in a creek bed and I have read that they do not do well in sand.
Based on that type of tire, I would rather have Mudtrax, MudGears, BearClaws, Mudrunners, and I hear that MudBugs are great too. (We mostly mud ride....99.9% of the time)

| You are welcome. Again, this is just my opinion and I'm not trying to upset Swamplite owners. My biggest gripe is how fast they wear. I will tell you though that the bigger the tire you get with them, them deeper the lugs get. | | | | Apr 27th, 08, 10:21 PM | | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: south louisiana
