Just think, MC. If you got a jeep, you wouldn't have to worry about a trailer, you could just drive the jeep to the trails
Don't remind me. LOL
I'm hoping that in a year I'll have this little Ranger payed down a decent ammount so I can sell it for a little bit of a profit (bought it for 3k under blue book) turn around and get me another Jeep or even an older full size Blazer. No serious off roading, just cruising the trails and such.
I had a 83 CJ7 I bought 7 years ago. I stripped it to bare metal, did all the rust repair, body work and prep work on it and had it painted. It was about to throw a rod through the block when I got it. I got a 59k mile junkyard special 258 for it and had the tranny rebuilt. I bought all the stainless stuff for it, put it all together and got it running. I never got it on the road before I lost interest (money) in it. I added it up right before I sold it. Jeeps are pricey, lemme tell ya. I had $10k in it and it wasn't even road ready. I ended up selling it to a buddy of mine for $3,500. Good thing about it I still got to keep a key to it, that way I can go and pick it up anytime I want to. J.E.E.P. = Just Empty Every Pocket. I'd buy another in a heatbeat.....just one that doesn't require that much work.
i totaled my jeep grand cherokee a week before christmas ,hit a tree ,no injuries (broke my heart ,i liked that jeep alot) last week i got me a 95 z71 reg. cab

getting all the bugs worked out of it, it's just hard to get the time for my three projects and my family time to get done with all i want . the z71 runs good, but it's not as offroad capable in stock form as my grand was, but i still have my 88 cherokee for offroad. it is good to have a truck when you need to haul junk.
I'm a Jeep-a-holic. I'm very active in one of the largest Jeep clubs in the US, and was President twice and Treasurer. Our website is VERY active and popular, so check it out if you have tech questions, or want to buy/sell something The Midwest Jeepthing
