For Jeff Anderson, four-wheeling is a way to see more backcountry than he might otherwise experience. Anderson, 45, of Lakewood Township, has been four-wheeling for about 15 years. He started shortly after he was injured in a car crash. He is a paraplegic. "I was an outdoors guy," he said during a lunch break on our trail ride earlier this month. "After I got hurt 16 years ago, I spent about a year and a half not going beyond my driveway. A friend came by and let me drive his four-wheeler. The next week I went and bought my own."
