| we are supposed to be taking a ride in a weekend or 2 and im wanting to carry my digital camera and get some pics(of the ladies and the mudding i hope haha)
anyways how do you guys/gals ride w/out getting your cameras wet and ruining them. im thinking about wearing some baggy shorts with big pockets and keeping it in there, then wearing my waders over the shorts and hopefully that will keep the water/mud etc off the camera when im riding.
any better ideas/suggestions? |

| The past 4 times we've been out, I wish I had my camera. Man.....could we have got some good flicks......funny ones too.
I haven't found a prefectly safe way to carry or pack my'n yet. So, back at camp it stays.
I know a fella that has a DVD Camera and I guess the bouncing around done it in. He said it's now $750.00 worth of trash. It won't record or playback. He's trying to get it replaced under the warranty. Hmmmmmmmm.....should have bought it at Wally World. They'd take it back!
Let me know if you come up with something.

any better ideas/suggestions? | I keep mine in a good camera bag which is already tight and cushioned, plus I wrap a big towel around that (for more cushioning) and then put it into my waterproof (NOT water resistant, be careful what you buy) fender bag. ** and yes it is truly waterproof because I drowned it in my bathtub and not a drop or hint of wetness was on the inside (as I wanted to be 100% positive that it was waterproof ). Now if I knew I was going to drown the bike, then of course it wouldn't go on that ride...but for just basic riding and going through the mud etc..., it works great.
I've never had a problem and being a former photographer, I'm very picky with my equipment, so I don't mess around..
When you spend that much money on equipment, you have to be cautious. |

| I don't carry mine, unless I have a big camo coat with big pockets on, if I don't we usually pick the guy that goes around the mud and take the pics, I had the camera in my pocket on this trip this is the coat I carry it in.. |

| im thinking in my pocket of shorts, with my waders on i outta be safe. i dont go in deep water holes with meredith on back anyways so the water is usually barely over the tires if that high.......plus the months and months of no rain, not like there is gonna be much other than dust on the trails anyways |

| Put an army ammo bx on your bike. They are water proof. Then you can put your keys, phone, camera, ect in it. |
