Honda 700xx ride report

Just picked up my 700xx and got a good break-in ride yesterday. Plenty of power and the independent rear suspension really tamed down the whoops. A few more hours on it and I can really open her up and see what the top speed really is. The only con I have found so far is that it didnt come with an hour meter or any way of tracking the time/miles on the machine. I installed a small one just below the idiot lights so that should work fine.

Next post will be the real test and report.

Going to El Rancho all weekend, so I will post some pics afterwards. I didnt want to post the same old stuff of a clean atv sitting in the garage. Action pics are much better, at least some with mud/dirt on her.

Suspension is awesome and plenty of power. Seems like 3rd gear is a little tall and I had to downshift a lot. And it survived many trips in some fairly deep water

Now somebody please tell me why in the world Honda cannot put IRS on a 420 or a Foreman... I mean come on.... Dang!! If they can put it on a Sport ATV, then why not on a Utility ATV???

Still no rain here, but I am going back out today for some more dustbowl and sand-trap riding. We have a place about an hour away in Z-hills with plenty of open space, some nice trails and stuff. I really learned the lesson about good goggles last time out, so I am better prepared now.

bamajeepjunkie, I hope that you are right. The thought makes me happy enough to get up and do a jig.
