Republican Jack Bush, the Chairman of the Lewis County Board of Legislators, announced today he will seek reelection to his District 9 seat. The district covers the towns of Greig and Lyonsdale in Lewis County.
Bush told supporters gathered at the Lowville Elks Lodge his goals for a new term will include completing the new courthouse, continuing to work to complete an ATV/snowmobile trail system and the improvement of county highways.
Bush, 60, told reporters he is grateful for the life he has enjoyed in the county.
“Lewis County has been very good to me and my family,” Bush said as he explained why he is seeking reelection. “I want to do something to re-pay Lewis County for all the good things it’s done for us.”
