KOLPIN GEAR GRIPS

I thought they looked like the perfect accessory so I bought a pair today...I got them all mounted and decided to see if my bow would fit and if they would hold my bow tight enough...Sure enough my bow slipped in like a glove but one side wasn't tight enough and the bow would wiggle around...I tried to tighten the grip a little bit more when I heard a POP and the whole Gear Grip Thingy snapped right off the base with little peices of plastic flying everywhere...They weren't on the machine for 5 minutes!!!...

Needless to say they are going back...Save your money and do not buy these cheap peices of plastic...

Thanks for the warning, they actually look really good in the picture.

They should re-inforce things like that with at least a LITTLE BIT of metal.... sheesh!

They are completely plastic except for the padding on the jaws, and the plastic seemed to be very brittle...They have a seperate base that has raised tabs that correspond with notches in the "Gripper" part, and they twist lock together...Those little tabs and the areas on the "Grippers" that lock them together just shattered...I had little pieces of plastic flying everywhere...I was applying very little pressure on the jaw when it happened...
