| Night Trail Riding Last night I took of through some trails. They were pretty tight and mostly pine. But it was so cool riding through all those pines with the fresh snow on them. Sometimes it would form a tunnel.
I was in high gear, but remembered reading on here that to use low when going slower. That made a big difference. |

| I love night riding! Ride a trail during the day and it's a different trail and better at night. I don't know why... But as far as gear selection, I usually run in low, day or night. |

| the fellers I ride with prefer to ride at night, only because where we live it is illegal to ride.we've been on these trails durin the day, but the night riden seems to intensify the effect. kinda makes ya keep to the trail.we've told some of the folks that rode with us, they probably wouldn't go durin the day. severe drops off the hill, or nasty spots to navigate. but night riden is GREAT. check out some of my pics.. if ya can see anything. |

| I guess a group ride would be cool. But getting stuck alone or a break down and walking home would stink. Here in new york we gotta watch out for big foot! My uncles do it some times and swear its great. Maybe if I join a group I'll try it sometime. |

That has crossed my mind. But I have to ride alone. There is no one else around with something to ride.
I'm not too much worried about getting stuck. I have a winch and a 3"x30' tow strap, so I should be able to get out. If I break down... |

Finding and spotting is one thing. Catching is another! |
