have any of you bypassed the sensor that runs from your radiator to the fan..the sensor that kicks your fan on and off automatically? my sensor is bad and someone was telling me you can take a toggle switch and wire it into one of the wires coming off that sensor so that you can turn the fan on/off with the toggle switch...only problem is they dont remember which wire to splice into...

any help??

Sounds like the thermal sensor went bad
Check out the following and let me know if this is what you are talking about.
Might just want to replace it instead of bypassing it......

thermal sensor is what is bad....i want to bypass it because i have had a couple buddies going into a mudhole and the fan kicks on and breaks the blades when it hits the water....this way i can turn it off when im in water..
