Vinson 500 Semi - Am I looking for trouble
I have my Vinson 500 Semi-auto now for 6 months. Sometimes the boy in me gets the better of me and I participate in a drag race or two against the full autos. I lift my gear lever to 2nd position but keep my foot under it while chasing the revs up. Then at revs I drop the lever and my Vinson shoots away leaving the autos standing. Am I looking for problems? Will I damage my gearbox?
From new I found the Vinson's engine to have a humming sound at higher revs. I sit correct that this bike tends to be more noisy cos of a dry sump or is it the front diff that I hear running with?
