We have a a 2007 Outlander Max 650 H.O. EFI 4X4 Camo model.
Love the power and ride. Very comfortable for both driver and passenger.

Did not care for their "10 hour" tune up need.
But since being new to the ATV world, I guess it is what it is.
I understand checking the suspension, maybe even having to adjust the valves.
But the libe change out seems to be overkill for 10 hour use.
I am comparing this to a similiar situation with Motorcylces on the lube change out.
I also really dislike the fact you "HAVE" to bring it in for the dealer to reset the maintenance alarm !
This should be something the do-it-yourselfer can reset as is with other vehicles that have the same alarm.

We will be looking for a second ATV, hopefully this summer. We may be looking at the Polaris's, and inquiring about their need's when it comes to maintenance.
Love the looks, the ride and power of the bomb, love to get an 800 max in the future, but this excessive maintenace thing, kinda bug's me. By excessive, I am saying, it forces you too have to go to the dealers, regardless of you doing the work.

We Have
1.) 2000 Polaris Sportsman (always runs great never gets stuck, and is a better workhorse than any of our Hondas)
2.) 2001 Honda Foreman Rubicon (Piece of crap never runs and something always breaks when it does, wouldn't suggest anyone buy this)(stick to orig. Foreman or Rincon if it must be a Honda)
3.) 2003 Honda Rancher (no complaints really only meant for trail riding though)

I run a 06 Sportsman 500 HO / EFI.....love it, beat the hell out of it and it takes it all...Jr runs a Suzuki LT 80 2005, just put a Pro Circuit pipe on it last weekend,......lil thing rips.....lil girl rides a 2008 Polaris Outlaw 50 (PINK)....and seemingly by the sounds of her "singing" while riding enjoys it as much as one can.....soon a 2008 Polaris Phoenix 200 for wifey...so thus far no comment on that machine.

we have a 660 raptor and a new 08 250...
The 660 is very powerful and the 250 is not too bad...better than what you would expect with a smaller cc engine....
