There are many opinions on this subject. I have an 07 rhino 660 special edition. I have been able to go everywhere that Jeff has on his wheeler. It is narrow and not as tall as the prowler. (Chad can tell you about that). The Polaris ranger is tough but it is wide. I guess it would depend on where you are gonna be riding, farm, trails, mud, around the house. If you want tons of mode the rhino is the way to go. Have fun in your search.
I do like the RZR. A dealer a couple miles away has one sitting out. I'm afraid to stop because it will probably cost me. Any word if other manufacturers are going to come out with something comparable to the RZR?
i wouldnt buy a rzr until its been out a year or so. i like my rhino pretty good but its not as tough as a atv. i agree with angie, my rhino will go any where an atv will, but it scratches a little more.
THe rzr is ok. But it sits a little low and doesn't have the Bed area of the rhino or ranger. Plus it is tight in the cockpit. (I am sure someone will blow that out of proportion Anyway I think if you live somewhere with sand dunes the rzr would be fun.
ItsDeep, well I made the leap to get the Rhino and after taking it on the Soo Line trail yesterday I am happy with the decision. This weekend will be the Red top trail (I imagine that you have been there) just north of you. It is tougher to maneuver in the woods than an atv but after riding for 4 hours my arms and rump are happier than when I rode on my former sportsman. I am sure that more confidence will get me stuck and really find out more, but for now very happy.
Doogie, does the DNR ever give you any grief with your Rhino out on the trails? I've rode the redtop a couple times. We mainly ride in Wisconsin. Will be in Hurley memorial day weekend.

A few words to the wise. Take the seats out and remove the engine cover and CHECK THE AIR FILTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Chad's was dry and so was mine. His engine blew after just a few hours. Luckily I learned from his mistake and pitched a fit at the dealer until they took it apart and oiled mine.
thanks for the tip, I can certainly understand the passion behind your post. Having used amsoil filters for my tow rig and race car, I should have covered that one. Thanks for the reminder.
Having only gone out once with the rhino I haven't ran into any DNR, but the law is favoring the new class so it shouldn't be a problem (unless of course I am mis-interpreting it)
I have ridden behind and alongside chuck and his rhino in my kawasaki mule, and we seem to be able to go just about the same places, the mule just doesnt have the ground clearance. (hi centered once) Sure like the mule, (and so does the wife, MOST IMPORTANT)

I seen the perfect acc. for the rhino at Wal-mart. They have a margarita machine that makes 1 gallon of frozen margaritas that plugs into a cig lighter. hmmmm................
