2" lift for Brute Force 750i

I was wondering if the Highlifter 2" kit is a good kit for the kawasaki brute force? Does it cause more wear and tear on the suspension, joints, and what not...?

I ride a 2006 brute 750 with 27X12X12 rear and 27X10X12 front, we ride very extreme rock crawling and hills and my brute is already a little top heavy so for that reason i would not recommend any lift. As far as extra wear and tear, I could not say. I pick my new 08 up next Wed. and I cany wait, we leave for Windrock Thru morning.

2" lift

My kit is a good one. And my friends is too. I would recommend this kit for riding where a lift is and clearance is a factor. It is harder on the cv joints but have had mine for over a year and had no problems. If you mud ride this is the kit for you. If you do get this kit I recommend wheel spacers, I have 2" wheel spacers on mine for stability and tire clearance. If you go higher then go wider. This my opinion and really depends on the riding you do the most.

1st of all - No lift kit is good for any machine... any sort of deviation from the factory angles will put boots, joints, and axles in more of a bind than they were designed to handle.

2nd of all - The HL kit is ok, but is unnecessarily difficult to install and includes quite a large number of components for what it is. I recommend this kit only if you are anal about not drilling holes in the machine.

Perfex makes a stainless steel 2" lift kit for the Brute for less than half the price, has 1/4th the number of components, and does the same job. (p.s. the kit only requires the drilling of two small holes in the front a-arms (1/8th inch each))

Just my two cents.

Good Luck

I like the HL kit just cause I dont like to drill in my a-arms where alot of stress is applied at all times. The angle on everything will increase but so far I havent seen to many problems with any brutes with and brany of lift, not just the HL lift. The Kawi axles are some of the strongest OEM axles made.I have had alot of brutes and only replaced wheels bearings in one of my custom lifted brutes, but it also had 15in of lift so the angles on everything were extreme.Even then I only had to replace the rear bearings only.If you call Highlifter ask for Jeff,he is a good guy.
