could also be a 350, the 400 rancher is automatic i think. i would say the best mod is tires more agressive 25". a guy that rides with us has a 02 350 rancher 2x4 w/25" kenda excutioners on the back and it works great. i prefer maxxis mudbugs.

I have 2000 Rancher 350 2wd and I have 26X12-12 Outlaws on the back of mine and I am telling you that this thing has impressed a lot of folks. I sure makes you feel good when you make it through things that some 4wd's get stuck in or have a harder time going through. I had the 500 2wd Foreman and the power was good, but I love my lil Rancher much better because of size, weight, and seat height. Anyway, not to get of subject. I have had those tires on my atv for 6 years. I just had to replace a rear bearing and put a new piston in it a few months ago. Not bad for as much hard mud riding as we do. Do I need to send you a redneck mud riding video to show you how my lil rancher does with those outlaws on it? You will not be disappointed!

yeah. them outlaws are impressive. i don't know exactly what you lookin for but try a multitude of websites. Highlifer has a lot of neat things to look at but a little bit pricy. but there good to look at to give ya idea on what to get. but i agree with bamma. 25" would be your best be in tire with a more agressive tread. alos look into undercarage protection (ricochet, higlifter, etc) hig performance air filters. heck theres nearly a million different things ya can do. it all comes down to. . .can you afford it?
