Mud Jam was a great success!!!

Brannon Russel raised over $5,800.00 at the 2 night event. As some of you know, she has been trying to raise enough money to be the largest youth fund raiser in the state of Texas for the American Cancer Society! Dennis with Mud Jams put on a great event and helped Brannon raise more money than ever before at an event. Her total for this year is a little over $15,000.00!!!

Yea Brannon!!

Brannon started raising money for the American Cancer Society when she was only 3. She was sad to learn that my Father, her Grandpa, died of Colon Cancer before she was ever born. She asked me if she could help stop other little girls to not loose their Grandpa's. I told her about Relay for Life and how we collect money and walk in memory and in honor of your loved ones and friends. She went to a meeting with me and was given a piggy bank. A gentleman sitting next to her put some money into her piggy and then told her she was now an official fund raiser! Brannon hit the ground running and has never looked back.

Her first year at the young age of three, she raised over $600.00. The next she raised a little over $1,200.00. She took a step further and asked for no birthday presents on her 5th birthday, only donations for the ACS, which helped her make it to $2,000.00. At the age of 6 she raised some where around$1,500.00. But the topper, is this year, at $15,000.00!!!!

Since she started this just 5 short years ago, she has raised over $20,000.00 for the ACS!!! Way to go Brannon!!!!

A special thanks to Dennis Hinson with Team Motor Jam. We couldn't have made it this fare with out you!!!
Another thanks to Robert with Texas Mud Fest your help with the donations of $5,000.00 this year has helped this little girl find an answer to her prayers.
Thank you to all who attended Brannon's ride back in March you are just as important to her for taking the time to join in all the fun, look for us next year as we will do it all again!

I am the luminaria chairman. I think you have it easier than me! I gave up on collecting my money. Brannon ends up taking it all. LOL but I don't mind. I think she makes up mine!
