Located between Muskogee and Braggs on OK Highway 10, a 450 acre sliver of this army base is operated by the Camp Gruber Recreation Trust Authority as an off-road vehicle area. The terrain ranges from sandy to good ol' dirt with several rocks along the way. Enduros and hare scrambles are held at Gruber throughout the year and the facility is open year round. There is a gate near the highway.
If you're making a weekend of it the nearby Greenleaf State Park offers reasonable accomodations in their lakeside cabins. Greenleaf is just a short drive further south on OK 10 and is a great place to relax after a ride. And if you're lucky you can hear the artillery practice at the army base across the highway!

Finally made it there. Place is bigger than you think. All types of trails from rock climbing, mud running to plain easy trails. Plenty there for all ages and all skill levels. I found some stuff that was a pucker factor 8 (1= easy 10 hard/scary) Spent 4 hours there drove what I think around the edges. There are 3 set of power lines clearings that run through the park so once you figure that out not much chance of getting lost. Road borders east side and a river borders the west and a really high cliff borders the south (did not explore a way to get around it) and to the north I went for mile along a area cleared by power lines and had to turn around do to time but it did look like it went a little further due to the trail was still well traveled. You do share the park with the big trucks, jeeps etc but most the interior is only ATV narrow trails. Here are some pictures.

If your at the overlook at the river, there is a deep revean to the south of there. You can ride along the lip of either side. The north side has the trails down. There are sevral trials leading down. I might add some trails down and up have a pucker factor of 10, so choose the trail to yor skill level. if you are going there again you can email me at jpowell@valornet.com and I would be happy to show you around some.
