| 06honda foreman help
i have a 06 honda foreman 500. i love water ridin especially water wheelies but every time i get it stood it tries to go dead like its losin fuel any suggestions on the problem

| what have you done so far as far as vent lines and snorkel. if you T'd the carb vent lines together try running them up separate and plug the drain line on the bottom of the carb. |

| i do have a snorkel kit but my vent lines are t'd ill try your suggestion and see what happens thanks | |

| I wouldnt plug the carb drain hose, I just ran mine under the seat toward the gas tank. Even doing that, when I'm in a good water wheelie for a amount of time, mine has shut down too. Maybe the carb is starving for fuel or it could be oil sensor. I did actually have a mechanic say that the carb drain hose can suck in a little water, but not to plug it. I dont know if he knew what he was talking about but, I just ran it under the seat. Who knows. | |

Who knows. | the drain line (also carb overflow) on the bottom of the carb comes stock with a 1-way valve that can go bad and then when your in water over the carb it will let water in. plugging it does'nt hurt anything just unplug it when riding rough trails or hauling it (i always turn off the gas when hauling or storing). i put a shut off valve on mine so i could just turn it off or on. | |
