i don't have a set my self but from what i've heard from members on this site and aroyund here are good and bad things

i've heard they wear excessivly on hard top roads and pavement. but i've also heard they are a very tough tire, can ahndle alot of the "stuff on the trail". i've also heard and seen they are good in most terrains. inlcuding mud but aren't as good in mud as they are in other situations.

my personal opinion, i don't like them. i don't like their tread pattern or tread depth or space between the lugs. i like there all terrain ability but as in mud i would recomend something else. especially if your doin alot of deep mucky mud ridin and ya need that god cleanin capability

my opinion..i have the mudlite A/Ts. good for most terrain but when i get in that gumbo we got back in our swamp they are hard to get clean and just don't grip in reverse. the xls i am pondering on gettin with my next batch or tires. those or the maxxis mudbugs or maxxis zillas. or look inot interco's other tires like the vampire TSls or the super swamper. but the mudlites are a good all around tire. but those are my opinions wait for ppl on here who have been ridin longer. give ya advice

The Mudlites will wear better but the Swamplites are a true 6 ply and are alot tougher and go just as good. I have both.... 2 sets of each.

I have Swamplites 25s on my machine and they
never let me down. A true 6 ply and it would take
one hell of a mud hole to get stuck. They ride smooth
and wear average provided you don't do alot of
street rideing. Good luck on your decision.

I have these in 25 inch. work great for me. I ride alot in sand , dirt, mud and some rocky areas. Rock crawling seem to be the only weakness I have found. Here is a link:

The Swamplite may be a 6ply tire, but the lugs wear fast. I agree with cottonmouth. The lugs are too close together and they will ball up in thick mud. Several friends I ride with have them and only a few just love them. I think they do better in reverse than forward. They will grip decent in light mud, but they spin too much in the thick stuff... and I dont mean the gumbo. We ride in a lot of bottoms and in very muddy conditions and these tires just dont impress me. If you work them hard, you might get through. Yes they look great and come true to size if not taller, but I would not want to have to replace tires as often as they would require. Also, the taller you go the deeper the lugs get. Again, this is based on the group we ride with and seeing how fast they have gone through a set of those tires. I.M.O., I think they are too over-rated and I don't like them.

I think you should look into the Mudtrax tires. They are very impressive. They have much better spacing and cleaning abilities and they will grip and go.

Like stated earlier above I have 2 sets of both. The Mudlites are no Great Mud tire...they are more of a all around tire, they have VERY WEAK sidewalls. In SL's i had one set of 25's and one of 26's. The 25's I only got 1,000 miles out of them. THe 26 SL's have alot deeper lugs and will last longer. What type of riding are you going to be doing???? Maxxis Mudbugs last and Go alot better than Mudlites do.
