motor mods

If you was going to modify your bike what would you do? I want to put some mods on my bike but im dont know what to put on it . I want it to be a mud bike thats all ! I've been told to put a high compression big bore kit , jet kit , gear reduction and performance exhaust on it. But I was also told that I didn't need the big bore kit just every thing else. ANY ADVISE WOULD HELP ALOT

Leave it stock bore and install a high compression piston, web camshaft, jet kit, pipe, and depending on what size of tire your planning on a 300 clutch basket and primary gear (gear reduction). The big bore kits do gain some nice power but dependability goes away with that, meaning it becomes a throw away sleeve. A buddy tried one and it egg shaped the cylinder after one ride but we figured the machinist might have messed up when boring it ??? won't know because it went back to stock size. If you do big bore it I would have the same place you buy it from do the machine work so there is only 2 people to blame (yourself or your mechanic and the machinist/part manufacturer) instead of 3 (you, the machinist, and the manufacturer).
