| oil change time Time to change my oil and I was wondering
conventional or synthetic?
what is the highest quality?
This is my first oil change on a regular schedule (first after initial service 100hr or 600mi). |

| Read your manual first. You're limited on the type of oil you can run in the Rancher due to the internal clutches. If I remember correctly, you cannot run any type of oil that has "energy conserving" on the API seal. I run Castrol 10w-40. |

| Yep...sooner is right on that. I would just use either Honda oil or Valvoline ATV or Motorcycle oil. The Valvoline ATV oil is a very good oil. |
