| problems wit the rancher 420 again first off it is a 07 rancher 420es 4x4
ok it will starts drive fine for about 15 min than it will not shift the screen where the shift indicator is just blinks 2 long blinks than 2 short blinks (so say if i was in 2nd gear the number 2 would do 2 long blinks than 2 short)than when moving i goes to a solid "-" bar and will not shift |

| I have heard of this issue before. I would definitely guess it is the angle sensor. |

| We had the same exact problem for months, intermittently. The code read two long and two short when we got a code. Otherwise, the "-" just flashed. It turned out to be a bad angle sensor. The resistance on the angle sensor was out of tolerance. R2 the angle sensor and all was good... so far... |
