| rode it today. more improvement. i was able to get her to 44 mph. so now all i think is it's the valves. this summer i had planned on gettin them adjusted anyway. i'll prob take it in to the shop but if i can get my hands on a service manual i'd like to do it myself instead of pay someone something that i can do.
hey bootlegger do they sell or make service manuals for the 08 BBs? i've tried lookin for one but can't find them |

| The Big Bear IMO is the best one Yamaha makes as far reliability goes. It will out last any other Yamaha out there. |

| same with my dealer. if i can get my hands on a service manual i can do alot of this struff myself. like valve adjustment, and alot of other stuff i ain't thinkin of right now. cause like i've said before. it ain't the labor money that'll kill me. it's the drive, the wait, and the gas that kills me. i like doin my own work on my own bike. i really don't like trustin someone else to do my work |

| look on ebay for a service manual. most on there go for less than $20. you can use k&n filter oil on your filter most auto parts stores carry it. |

| yup i did and the filter cleaner and oils worked perfect. the filter looks brand new (foam i mean) i don't think it would be wise to spray my paper filter with that, hose it off with water, then add oil. correct me if i am wrong |
